GUIDELINES FOR VISITING THE AGR SAFELY

When visiting the AGR to see our exhibitions or attend an event, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines to ensure the health of you and our staff!

Until we deem it safe, we will be taking appointments to view the gallery.  To book an appointment, please go here or call the AGR at (306) 522-5940.

If you are visiting Monday - Friday:

  • please sanitize your hands as you enter the building.  If you plan to renew your membership, we wash your hands.

  • no more than ten people will be allowed in the gallery at one time (this number will vary according to what exhibition is up due to installation considerations).

  • please maintain a two-meter distance between you and any other patron that is not a part of your social bubble.

  • if you have come to renew your membership, please do not enter the main AGR office or lean on the Curator's workstation.  Instead, notify either one of our staff people from a safe distance (which will be marked by an X on the floor) and then wait by the white counter under our bulletin board. Staff will bring you a form or a pen.  At this time, we cannot give out change so if you are paying by cash please bring an exact amount.

  •  please maintain a two-meter distance between yourself and any AGR staff.

If you are visiting on a Saturday:

The building we are located in (Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre) will be closed to the public.  However, you may still visit the AGR.  Please ring the doorbell and wait for a staff member to come let you in.  Once inside, please follow the same guidelines as above.

If you have been out of the country in the past two weeks, are feeling ill (fever, shortness of breath, cough), or have come into contact someone who either has or is suspected of having COVID-19 we ask that you follow the recommended public health guidelines and save your visit for another day.
